MAPPING SOUND INSTALLATION official website is opend!!

“Mapping Sound Installation” is an art project, in which the space of YCAM (both studio space and public space) is regarded as a place for installing sound-art, and the site-specific and public-oriented sound designs are mapped spatially. At each mapping spot, aesthetic meaning and social function of the three-dimensional spatial extent is unconventionally designed through sound-art so that visitors and users can perceive and actually go through new experiences. In this project, both artists and visitors pursue the entire building as a range of living and moving spaces, while the horizontally circulatory feature of the YCAM architecture is highlighted, and delicate linkage between public art and human senses is activated.
